it was a wonderful holiday.. but we wished it was for a week or more. I didnt have enough of the sun, the sand and the sea. My nose and cheeks are red and my skin is peeling. But.. I am not complaining.
All of us took the same ferry to Bintan, the 11.01am (weird right?) ferry cos my parents were like in Johor, thus there was no risk of being spied on! Fendy & his friends were like late and we had to rush to the ferry. Anyway, we reach Nirwana Gardens around 12.30pm (11.30pm Bintan time!) and they allowed us to check in. Was sooooooo happy.... the villa was beautiful. We hung around the villa, unpacking our stuff while listening to hindi songs for a while. Then we went to the pool at Banyu Biru and had a good swim before checking out the beach. It was beautiful but there was a red flag so we didnt swim. We then went to the Nirwana Gardens swimming pool & jacuzzi. I think we must have been swimming and all that for abt 4hrs! We went back to the villa super tired. All of us had our afternoon siesta. Me, Fendy, my sis & Eddy then prepared the stuff for the BBQ. The food was great but everybody was tooo tired to eat. Haha. Fendy & a couple of his friends sat at the dining table and were like chatting while the rest of us were watching Hulchul. We were drinking like nobody's business man... hmmm.. not drinking alcohol lah.. syrup lah! ;p We finished 2 bottles of syrup in one day! Some of the guys then took a walk to Nirwana Gardens supposedly to buy syrup.. but came back empty handed! Anyway, we watched Shutter and some of us slept at around 3+am while the rest stayed awake and watched Mystic River.
We woke up around 9+ on the second day. Some of Fendy's friends had gone to the beach @ mana mana resort to watch the sunrise.. haha.. romantic boys! We had loads of nutella with bread for breakfast then went swimming again. We were like there for abt 4hrs. The rest then went back to the villa while me, Fendy & his friend Fadzil sipped mocktails at the pool bar. The pool was by the beach so we were like enjoying the beautiful view. Went back to the villa after another quick swim and all of us were like totally tired.. ahha.. we were like saying that we're gonna swim again but all if us slept like babies and only woke up at abt 5pm. Haha.. swimming can be super tiring you know! We got ready and went to pasar oleh-oleh. We went berserk shopping.. Fendy bought a shaker and a flute while his friend Imran, bought a djembe and a flute. We had a wonderful but cheap dinner at cafe helo helo. The kangkong was like super fresh man! And the calamari was like super delicious. We were like rushing thru the food cos we were told by the hotel staff that the last bus from pasar oleh-oleh leaves at 9.25pm. But guess what? Turns out the last bus leaves only at 10pm! The guys then whipped out their purchases and were like playing some songs and dancing... haha.. even the shopkeepers went out of their shop to look and clapped at the performance. The Japanese tourists and Indorent staff also seemed to enjoy the performance! Fendy & friends were like singing the "Suka Suka" song while playing the instruments. Very fun to have them around! We then went to the Pub and had a good Karoke session. Fendy sang "Widuri" in English and "You give love a bad name" in mandarin.. and all of us had a good laugh. We then went to the bar and watched the live band. Gosh.. it turns me on so much to see my Fendy dance. ;p After a tiring session we went back to the villa. We went back to our respective rooms and were like playing the instruments still.. Fendy's friend was like playing tunes on the Djembe and Fendy played the same tune on his flute. We then went to his friends' room and played the instruments. Haha.. we went down the spiral staricase playing instruments and dancing. Haha.. very funny. Some of them then slept while the rest of us watched Harold & Kumar. I fell asleep under Fendy's arms! We were like buay tahan cos we were like super sleepy. We slept and woke up around 7.30am cos Fendy's friends were like leaving already. Me & Fendy had a quick walk by the beach and went back to the villa to send Fendy's friends off. We had a quick walk around Nirwana Gardens before going back to the villa. My sis & Eddy was like awake already. We decided to go to Mana Mana for a swim. Boyyyy.. the beach was wonderfullll.. we had a good swim and guess who we saw? Tommy.. the guy who brought us around last year. We made arrangemt for him to bring us around that night. We went back for a swim at Nirwana Gardens after that and had a light lunch and superb mocktails. Still hungry, my sis & Eddy went back to the villa to fry some chicken and beef. Me & Fendy were like sunbathing until a bee came and we ran away.. haha. We went back to the villa, had a good lunch and met Tommy at 5pm. He brought us to the Kelong where we had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the spectacular sunset. After that we went to pasar oleh-oleh for a while before going back to Nirwana Gardens for another Karaoke session. We had a good laugh before we headed to Mana Mana for the beach party.. which disappointingly was that happening. We left early and went back to the villa to sleep. Our ferry on Sunday was like 11.30am.
Me & Fendy woke up early and went for a walk by the beach and a swim at the pool. We left the place red, tanned, tired and suffering from Post-Holiday blues. Ait.. you heard me right. I miss Bintan already. Me & Fendy were planning to go there again this April or something. ;p
