I was almost late for work just now. I reached Eunos MRT (from my 3mins walk from home!) at ard 8.40am. I contemplated taking a cab and waste $12 but decided against it as i may reach even later that if i were to take the MRT. Luckily, after doing a Marian Jones, i manage to reach at 9am exactly. Phew! My workplace is so strict that you cant even be 1 min late even if there is a typhoon or hurricane or tornado outside. But i dont mind actually.. cos of the BONU$. And speaking of bonus.. i just found out that it is not confirmed that the increment will be credited into my a/c on 15/10/04. Dang. I hope they will reply real soon. I called the HR guy yesterday, and the conversation went like this...
Me : Hi, is that M. This is XXX from XXX dept.
M : Yes.
Me : Remember i inquired abt the increment thingy on Monday? Is there any status?
M : Oh yes.. i remembered. I have been busy. I will check for you. (??? What the
!@#$)
Me : Oh ok. Actually, are you the correct person i shd check with?
M: Yes, yes, dont worry, we are checking for you. (Yeah, right.. it has been 3 bloody anxious days!)
I dont even think he is checking on it. *Screamssssss* I want my money you ass!!!! I am sick of eating bread with rain water and grass and drinking new water. Nonsense Lina. Hehe.
Anyway..Guess what? The maid came yesterday. She is supposed to help my mum take care of my grandmother. She is such a sweet lady. She knows how to read the Quran, she can cook very well and she is very the gentle. Ooh.. and she is very helpful and can massage very well. She massaged my hand for me and it is oh-so-fine now. Woo. So happy i can do the macarena and show ppl 2 middle fingers again! Anyway.. she is going to be a fixture in my house.. this is good in some way but bad in another way. Why? Cos... if my parents go holiday..i cant stay out till early early morning anymore! *Sobs* How? How? How? I will still have to stick to my 10-year old kid's curfew of 10.30pm. I think i NEED to get MARRIED. :-( Fendy.. save me.. save me. Right now.. the nearest thing i have to Freedom is Kotex' Freedom. Hrmph...
