My grandfather's father was from India. Then he went down to Riau Islands in Indonesia and got married there. After marriage, he went to Singapore with my greart grandmother.
My grandmother's father was from India. Her mum was from India but has Pakistani blood. Her mum went to Penang when she was young. Then my grandmother's father went to Penang from India and got married. After that, they went to Singapore.
As for my mother's side, they came from Java and Malacca. Dont really know much abt them. Tsk. Bad me.
Hrmpph. As you can see, my family is rather complicated. But i solve the problem by declaring myself an indian. (Shhshh.. but it doesnt say so in the i/c.. cos of the free education for Malays thingy. ;p)
